its been so long since i write my last blog. since this is my first blog in 2oo7, i wanna start with writing about the “spring/summer 2oo7 COUTURE“

to all fashion lovers out there.. now we can watch front row view at Armani Prive couture show from the internet. its the first ever streamed haute couture show from Paris. Thanks to Mr. Armani who had the idea to bring couture to masses. you can check out the video at this following link..

first of all i would like to mention about Mr. John Galliano for his awesome work. he’s truly a genius. This Christian Dior spring/summer 2oo7 collection is my favorite of all. you can see it very clear that the collection was inspired by japanese culture, starting from kimono, samurai, japanese paintings, until origami. for this collection i call it the art of fashion. i put some of the pictures from the collection.. well its very hard to choose bcoz every piece is my favorite. but i just gave you the idea of the Dior couture collection.

This season Mr. Valentino creates an all-white-on-the-night collection. As always, his design is very feminine, chic, and romantic, a perfect keyword to dress a lady. Mr.
Valentino really knows how to dress a woman. I admire his talent.

Remember the legendary bustier created by Jean Paul Gaultier that was worn by Madonna. well this time Gaultier was inspired by the true Madonna.. meaning.. the Holy Mary. with the “Holy, Holy, Holy” theme Gaultier can come out with some great couture creations.

i think.. thats my top 5 favorite collection in this spring/summer 2oo7 collection.. hope ya’ll enjoy it.
